Hi we are Karen and James and ours is not a unique story, we have retired to a life of travel and have no end date in mind. We intend to travel where the wind takes us and enjoy new places, new people and new exciting experiences. I (James) have been in the RV industry since 1971 firstly with Campervans, then Motorhomes and from 2002 to 2022 Fifth Wheelers. We have learnt a lot over the years and hope some of our advice and answers to questions will be beneficial to people dreaming of a nomadic lifestyle.

Just a little on our set up.
The Tow vehicle is a 2023 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x 4 we bought new and configured it especially to do our Big Lap. We had the purpose built body, 130 litres of additional fuel, storage boxes, fifth wheel hitch, Ironman bull bar, winch and wheels and tyres the same as our trailer.We built the fifth wheeler before we retired and it has been built specifically to travel Off Grid and dirt roads, we have plenty of water, battery capacity and solar to keep us off the beaten track longer. Running on Cruisemaster ATX Independent Air Suspension with Disc Brakes our fifth wheeler features Full Composite, Fully Bonded, Construction which gives us a lightweight, extremely strong and stylish fifth wheeler loaded with along list of creature comforts.
